As always Shine Employment Lawyers are here to support the little guy. With the incoming Labour government there appears to be a shift towards a more employee centric labour policy. This is evidenced by the stated intention to remove the limitation on film workers rights and the statement by the new minster Iain Lees-Galloway that:

"We're looking to restore a lot of workers rights that have been diminished over the last nine years and that is a priority for us. It's something that we want to have the legislation at least introduced within the first 100 days of government"

Lets hope that this leads to industry change and a focus on the little guy.
